Maggie Grace and Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 1982. She is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington in Ohio, left high school in order to move to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. The actress landed her first part as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder set in Greenwich. In 2004 Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she was a main character for the initial two seasons, and was awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace wanted to focus on film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. She starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). In addition, she played Alice as Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is a modern adaptation that the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role as Shannon in two episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the sixth season. The role she plays is Faith as a girl who serves as a model for the stars and catches the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is part of the Gyllenhaal clan and the sister to Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was in her teens she appeared in small roles in the films of her father and co-starred with her older twin brother on Donnie Darko which is a famous cult film. Later, she was on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her lead performances in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama) and Sherrybaby (606) Both of which garnered the actress Golden Globe Award nods. After several commercially successful films in 2006, including World Trade Center she received greater recognition for her performance as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). Her performance in Crazy Heart as a mother who has a child received her a nomination in an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. In the following years she appeared in comedy and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. The actress also played an Secret Service Agent in White House Down which was an action thriller from 2013, she was a musician in Frank (2014) and the lead role in The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of 2018. In 2021 Gyllenhaal was able to make her writing and directing debut in the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter for which she was awarded The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
