Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She first began her career as an actress in the 1980s. She became famous for the movie Tezaab with the veteran actor Anil Kooor. In the following film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. Born into an Mumbai middle-class family and began to dance when she was a child. When she was still in high school, she attempted acting, but the majority of her early movies were unsuccessful. The actress gained fame and was one of the top film actresses. Following her marriage she had a career break before reentering the industry. More recently she played in a crucial character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women living in India. Dixit is nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is also known for her charitable works.
